God Bless the Sisterhood
Sisters,
I have been trying to write this letter for a few weeks now. There are things that kept me busy that are different than from when I started as president. You will recall that a few years ago I had a bone marrow transplant which made me painfully aware of germs as I have to take more than average care. Now with COVID I have attempted to have meetings using the same platform we have used for Higher Ground Fellowship Hour and Morning Worship. In addition to my job, caring for my mother has become far more involved. Thus after much prayer I have decided it is best if I resign from the office of president of the Sisterhood Ministry.
I would like to continue this blog and the operation of our Remind App group as a form of communication in addition to those who volunteer to make phone calls. I would also like to have another delivery made to the shelter for homeless families at the Bishop Ott Center as another minister has contacted me with contributions for this God-Led ministry.
Thanks for the support over the years and may God bless each of you is my prayer.
Sister Kathy Michael
